Constitutional Carry Invoice SB 1 by Senator Blake Miguez has been signed into legislation by Governor Jeff Landry!

The signing of SB 1 into legislation strengthens the rights of people to maintain and bear arms by restoring the power of law-abiding gun house owners, 18 years and older, to hold a hid handgun in Louisiana with out having to first ask the Louisiana authorities for permission.
Although Governor Landry signed SB 1 yesterday (March fifth), Constitutional Carry won’t take impact till July 4th of this 12 months.
I want to thank Governor Landry for supporting our proper to maintain and bear arms and for maintaining his promise to make Constitutional Carry the legislation in Louisiana.
