So states now control elections aw to hell with Congress removing people from the ballots and making up crimes without due process sounds fair. I think Republicans should start taking Biden off the ballots in different states for what he’s doing at the border to America in reality I think Republican states because Democrats are too corrupt to function in this Republic Colorado state Supreme Court should be disbanded Who are the real insurrectionist I would submit Democrats.

I love how she had the nerve to ask what the statement meant whenever she said the other Republican candidates want to let it to the voters. It means exactly what they said. They don't want the courts involved they want the voters to decide. Is she stupid or something?

This will backfire and just continue to build more support for Trump. How are the courts looking to take away voters right to elect their leader?

Anyone that takes the oath to protect and defend our constitution! He took the oath right? Public office civil or military? He was Commander and chief right? Inciting/engages in insurrection (rising up against our constitution)? Hell, he started it and planned it and watch it without doing anything!Did we not see him doing it with our own eyes?

This is a slippery slope. This isn’t about following the constitution. This is about keeping a political candidate from running for office. Election interference. The Supreme Court will overturn this

Here is your absolute proof that every Democrat knows Joe Biden did not have 81 million people vote for him. If they really believed he did, they would just leave President Trump alone!!

Under the Trump administration, business bankruptcies rose 20 percent while farm bankruptcies rose 28 percent. 7 of the top 10 states with the highest bankruptcy rate? The Republican-led states of Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee, Ohio, Indiana and Arkansas.

DJT was represented by counsel and received due process in a fair adjudication under judicial review and appeal of an election qualification issue. Both Colorado courts rendered a declaratory judgment disqualifying DJT from holding any military or civilian office in our government. He was found to be an insurrectionist and none of his presidential electors can be recognized either, given their "aid and comfort" in support of an insurrectionist, which would violate Article 14 Section 3 as well.

DeSantis and Haley should withdraw from the Colorado GOP primary ballot until Trump’s name is restored on the Colorado ballot. If they do not, they are complicit in the abuse of our judicial system (or whatever is left of it) and complicit in the conspiracy to interfere with the 2024 election. It is the voters' job to decide who becomes POTUS, not a handful of judges.

Controlling precedent precludes SCOTUS from altering the Colorado factual finding that Trump is an insurrectionist unless the finding was unsupported and clearly erroneous, but the finding was substantially supported by a mountain of “clear and convincing evidence” as recognized by both Colorado courts, Even if SCOTUS reversed the state court's conclusion of law that Article 14 § 3 applies to the office of the president, Trump’s electors would still be disqualified because they would be giving “aid and comfort” to the Trump insurrection and thus violating Article 14 § 3 themselves. Checkmate!

"Mario Nicolais, one of the lawyers representing the six Colorado voters who filed the lawsuit in September, said he was encouraged by the narrow grounds on which they had lost — not on the substance of Mr. Trump’s actions, but on the scope of the amendment’s applicability."

Therefore, it was a trial to determine whether Trump will be on the ballot or not. There was no trial with witnesses and video tapes to establish the accusation of insurrection. Even the lawyer on the opposite side of Trump says it.

For insurrection there must be a criminal trial in which a prosecutor accuses someone of criminal acts against the state. It was a trial initiated by 6 people who challenged Trump's right to be on the ballot.

"During the initial bench trial in Colorado, the Judge made a definitive ruling that Trump committed an insurrection."

Sir, you are right. But, you are misled by that judge. The judge in that case, civil, only had to determine whether Trump will be on the ballot or not.

No one asked him to determine if it was an insurrection or not. The case in Colorado is the same as in Minnesota and other states. In all of them, the question arises whether Trump is on the ballot or not.

The events of January 6 were in Washington. Not in Colorado, Minnesota or anywhere else. As a result, judges from other states should decline to judge a case that is not in their state(jurisdiction). The fact that he pronounced on insurrection is an obvious mistake. This was none of his business.

It was the work of a judge in Washington. The facts happened in Washington, at the end of the day.

    He should have known that.

And after that comes the Colorado Supreme Court and tells us that there was an insurrection in Washington, D.C.

Since when does the Colorado Supreme Court establish sentences for acts that occurred in another state?

It’s not only pathetic, but also disturbing to see people defending a fascist dictator wanna-be, in the name of… democracy!? It’s a global phenomena, though. At the moment the new government of Poland is kicking out the extreme right wing bosses in state media, where they have suppressed all opposition in typical fascist manner for almost 10 years. Now these extreme right wingers are whining loud, and cry for democracy. That democracy they have suppressed for so long. Trump and his minions tried to change the outcome of a democratic election. When they now face the constitutional consequenses, they cry for… democracy. Pathetic. Just go home now.
