Ah this argument would have puissance if these agencies actually did their jobs smh. I mean fair and safe markets? And these folks talk about this with a straight face? Your own politicians routinely trade on insider information and govern at the behest of corporate interests and donors and it’s an open secret that they do so! The Pentagon, hub of the military industrial complex, hasn’t passed an audit in years, perhaps because it is funding a forever war on various fronts all over the world. Fauci and GoF research; big Pharma, the FDA and the opioid crisis, I mean shall we go on? The ‘deep state’ absolutely IS a problem and absolutely SHOULD answer to an independent judiciary!

You fail to understand the constitutional gaurantees that all citizens have against the government. Critical in these is the right by jury of our peers and the proper way for appeal. Just because congress says we can do away with these guarantees does not make it so. The adminstrative judicial process is patently unfair and I hope that SCOTUS rectifies the situation.

If the funding for those agencies comes from Congress, then that's your check against the Executive Branch.. so why does the Supreme court need to get involved in the administration of those duties? I thought they rule on constitutional law and these powers were settled 80 years ago

So they are doing trumps bidding. Destroying democracy..they want control over our body and to be allowed to do anything they want. Including polluting the government. No regulations. Just regulating what we read, what we identify as and what we carry inside our bodies

Why shouldn't there be a jury trial? I am not really understanding the argument. It's too expensive to prosecute? Wouldn't the fines offset the cost?

I am not one for politics as it’s a dumb game made up by a select few to abandon their responsibility to govern for everyone’s best interest but the idea of the Supreme Court deciding how much power a specialized agency run by experts in their field has is idiotic the Supreme Court is supposed to be the judical check of the executive and legislative branches not the check along with partial embodiment of the executive branch.

Not sure why all you people have issues with things that are unconstitutional being struck down. Completely unamerican. Literally the only thing the supreme court is planning on doing is ruling that the executive branch can't pass their own regulations (FYI the executive branch passing their own regulations is unconstitutional)

The American voters are to stupid to realize that they are sheep voting wolves into government who now eliminated the no eating laws. Large corporations have no morals and they will do anything to make the shareholders maximum profits. That means no environmental protection, no health rules, no workers rights. I hope they feel the pain without the rest of the world and environment suffering.

It really is the rich vs the people. The whole system is setup to force us to focus our attention on their puppets in government instead of them. They know that all the power is in the people, which is why they spend all their time dividing us and making us fight amongst ourselves. It's all by design to strip us of our power. The people coming together is their biggest fear. Because if it actually happened, there would be NOTHING they could do about it. They would be powerless to stop us. But the divisions have never been deeper, so the chances of it happening are slim to none. They have won. There really isn't much hope left. Maga idiots are their end game. Because they know with that cult, there is no chance of the people EVER coming together again.

I'm hopeful that SCOTUS will see how changing this system will upend the courts, and choose the easier route of leaving the system intact. I'm thankful that the case is a securities case, since it is less likely to have proponents calling for more fraud.

Just like with taxes where the big fish are not pursued because they are harder the same would go happen here. Only in very major incidents would the big fish be held accountable.

America is finished as a democratic nation, if indeed it ever was. billionaires and demagogues have long exploited the people for their own narrow self interest, in fact it has been exploiting many nations in the same cause, using the name of "freedom" but in fact in the pursuit of colonialism. Heretofore it has been held in check by the necessity of facing up Russia/China. now the mask has slipped and the US is heading for full blown fascism. The US stands on the brink of an Abyss.

Rewriting the Constitution without a convention. Scotus needs to be expanded to 13 seats. 1 for each of the 13 circuit courts. 9 seats is too few for the crucial nature of the cases.
