It is time for the States to go their own separate way. So there will be no need of the centre. This would be an ideal situation.
The current CJI is a pawn in the hands of the BJP and the country is ruled by gundas who are elected by idiots who dont know from where their next meal is going to come from.

We are currently in a state of endless constitutional emergency. And the lack of judges like him on the bench is the evidence for this.

The retired judges, often start giving lectures on various issues which were never practised by them during their working days. For example about genocide of hindus in kashmir, genocide of sikhs in delhi by cong men so on so forth. Now, they use welfare of common man, freedom, democracy, CEC appointments, functioning trying to sound very democratic. We never heard anything earlier that during cong ruling, we, defence perdonnel were subjected to many insults in J & K by local admin even during our routine movements. Its very unfortunate. We many a time feel like these people and beuracrats are under the veil, are more corrupt than politicians. Very sad

It seems he is out of touch with Kashmiri problems and seems to encourage judiciary to step in to executive and legislative powers snd totally unconstitutional. Democracy was well preserved all earlier CECs appointed by GOI.

With the help of this speech I am further guided to the belief that democracy will permanently shift to a coalition government in the coming years and decades with an assumption that these subversions are acts and can be played by any party in power to the further detriment of the spirit of constitution. I think democratic response to rogue legislation’s is coalition. This also means in my prophesy that the fracture lines in our society will widen every day.

Alas! we are failing the constitution because of our knowledge, intelligence and lack of integrity to the concept of India.

    Sir H H speech
The Democracy is subjugated and replaced by Monarcy in actual
There is no watch dog. Every post is appointed not elected the example is by chit system for Chief Minister and so on.
If the Honourable Chief Justice would have included the Veto power to each the situation would have been different for election of CEC
And existing Bar voting and chalenge the appointment of CEC can only revive the federal principal will survive the democracy.

The biggest criminals in India are politicians , judges and police force…. These three are most corrupt… the common man is a fool. Hence India is poor and underdeveloped country because these sort of people are only bothered about their bribed income.

This ex-judge is All Guns Blazing about the Executive and Legislature that they are doing concerning things and not abiding by the ethos and the idea of a Republican polity as per constitution. All good Sir, we all are with you in this.

    But tell us this,

Why independence of Judiciary is dependent on a Collegium which isn't in the constitution ?

If our judiciary is so much marvellous and shining in bright colors then how come pendency is more than 4 crore cases as per National Judicial Data Grid. According to a 2018 Niti Aayog strategy paper, at the then-prevailing rate of disposal of cases in our courts, it would take more than 324 years to clear the backlog.

CJI is Master of Roster, great. But why Indian judiciary is mockingly called My Uncle's Judiciary ?

You said the BAR is judging the Judges. Seriously. Striking down a decision of Executive can cost them an election, career, social respect and they can even got to jail. But what is your punishment by the BAR ? I am sure it won't be as severe as the likes of the executive !!

None the less, why so much hypocrisy at the end of you address ?

Another important thing to be added here is that retired judges of all the courts of the country should be barred from contesting elections and taking part in the governments.
