We are in end times
Trump will be on every state ballot. All indictments will be dropped and since all the courts and judges are afraid of him and all the ignorant Republicans are for him he will be free to destroy America. If ignorant people vote for him they will get what they asked for….an autocratic fasisist..and they are the ones who will suffer the most. Given what I have said, it would appear that Mr. Trump is above the law.
Coming from the uk I cannot believe that judges, at any level, should vote in a partisan way. I thought the whole point of the judiciary and the politicians being separated with a system of checks and balances ensured that decisions made at any level should be free from political hindrance. Surely various Eastern European countries, namely Poland and Hungary, have been under sanctions from the eu for precisely this interference.

Lowering the Bar does not note (but I do) that "the election!" while not without fraughtness, is not critical for us to know what a snake Trump is. We do, and certainly others can learn more. But a piece of paper doesn't prove that. He does, every day.

Why does it take SO long for these cases to move through the system? Seems a few folks are slow walking things on purpose.
Look I believe that Donald Trump is not going to win this immunity argument but I will say that the Republicans are putting forth another argument that I have a lot of questions about. I hope that MTN will actually hit on it sooner or later but this is what argument is.
They are now saying that Jack Smith was not properly or legally appointed to investigate these cases against Donald trump. That Congress and the president are the ones who were supposed to appoint the special counsel and that Merrick Garland had no authority to bring Jack Smith in to do this job. My question is of course, after 3 years of this investigation is going on, why is it now that they want to make this argument? Is it a legitimate argument? Or is it another false flag argument that they want to raise in order to create doubt that Donald Trump is even properly being investigated?
I would imagine Judge Ludig and other conservative experts on the law in the Constitution would have already put this out there as a possibility for the cases to be dismissed. And the people who are coming up with this say that the Constitutional experts are pushing this claim. I would just like to know the truth so that I'm not sitting out here spreading lies and making sure that I am supporting the side that is truly on the side of the Constitution and our laws.
This will be a good test for the Supreme Court if they take up the appeal. If they postpone the speedy handling of the appeal then that should readily demonstrate the corruption within Highest Court body itself. Criminal behaviour is criminal behaviour, just as corruption is corruption, therefore they both parties ought to found guilty of crimes.
