The overriding fact too many americans dismiss is that there is a LAW of GOD that does not change for anyone. No constitution or legislative body decision however intricate can ever delegitimize or undermine of contradict GOD's Law without negative consequence for the ones doing so in the hereafter. Too many times in history have regimes and governments passed laws contrary to GOD's Eternal Law. In a nominal christian nation one would hope to see better. But even this expectation seems like a stretch these days.
Stick to the clause about giving “aid and comfort” to insurrection. He wantonly refused to intervene as Commander in Chief, as only he could, since the Mayor of DC does not have the power to do so. And he refused to do so at the behest of his Cabinet members and staff who were present testified that he refused to intervene under oath.
He did not ever say “storm the Capitol, bear spray and trample cops to death”, etc. Repeating “he engaged in insurrection” is not entirely factual. Focus on his refusal to intervene as the only person with the authority to do so.
