An comparison: a Senate impeachment proceeding is akin to a board of directors gathering to decide whether or not to vote out the CEO…. on what planet does Trump come from where he thinks either the board or the Senate is a …JUDICIAL BODY….? 🤔. not here in America at least, it's not

Why can't J6 March trial continue pending trumps appeals to avoid the delays trump seeks? Every day delayed is more than justice delayed.. it's also the destruction of the country's democracy and damage he's causing worth his rhetoric! When is enough- enough?

    Thanks, Muchael:
I have right-leaning relatives from New York visiting, and they lean Trump. If I didn't adore them for their decency and moral fiber, I might feel less than charitably toward them. What to do? Easy. Come HERE, for sanity, for clarity, for judicial strength and blind advocacy for justice. I love, BTW, that justice is represented as blind. It means that no amount of shiny baubles will distract from, or even be noticed, in the quest for justice.

You certainly can't be prejudicial to skin tone if you're blind to it, as one example. ~ Peter Ferber

It is also possible that SCOTUS chooses not to take it up as an interlocutory appeal. This would be the fastest way for the case to move forward.

Trump is running to avoid legal jeopardy, just like he did in 2000. It worked even though he lost to Bush Jr

I fell asleep with mtn on my phone. I woke up with a message on my phone saying caution this app is inapropriate and offensive. I thought what was i watching, porn? I clicked on it and the story with tucker carlson and the guy who murdered george floyds mom was on talking about his innocents. I was insulted to think someone calls your network offensive. Never saw that before i watch you guys all the time.

Donald shared classified information with Putin and had a secret meeting with Putin in plain sight. Was that Treason? Treason is the elephant in the room. He had in his possession classified documents after he left office and was no longer president. He took those documents to Maralargo. Boxes and boxes. He actively shared those documents with non-citizens. Treason? The evidence is undeniable. People go straight to jail for less than that. I am certain of it. They disappear on suspicion alone. These are straight-up intentional acts. The process is to lock them up and ask questions later. Contain the national risk. Maybe espionage is a more appropriate word.
If I did all that and was still walking around I would be absolutely certain I was immune whether ordained or otherwise.

"Absolute presidential immunity?" In that case, President Biden should throw the Orange Turd in jail by executive order without any consequences.

I think that Smith has taken the reigns on the 'absolute presidential immunity' thing for no other reason than the awful implications of letting Trump exert influence over the tenor and schedule of the appeals process.

Moreover, I suspect that the same reason explains why Judge Chutkan went along with it.

I'm just so concerned about what SCOTUS is gonna do. I don't trust them to rule on this before the election. Because the thing is, when Jack Smith first brought this to them they said they would very quickly decide if they were gonna take it. Then when Trump and his team asked them not to get on it too quickly they said they wouldn't. It feels like they're doing what they want to help him

Don’t forget to mention that “prosecution of Trump’s crimes by the Justice system” was precisely the reason senate republicans gave for NOT convicting him for impeachment #2. Moscow Mitch gave a lengthy speech on that.

If the Dump has absolute presidential immunity, Biden should get rid of this "Vermin" by signing a presidential order for "pest control" immediately to protect the people of the USA.
It would mean Biden has the same presidential immunity.

Michael, did I miss something? I could swear you kept referring to the Second Amendment while talking about Presidential powers and responsibilities. I thought the Second Amendment had to do with gun ownership in conjunction with "a well-regulated militia". I thought you meant Article II of the Constitution. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

On a different note . . . is a Three Judge Panel anything like Three Dog Night? Do they have to harmonize their rulings? And if the Quadruply-Indicted, Twice-Impeached, Disgraced Ex-President's legal team demands that the Appellate Court hear the case en banc and pitches their best game, how likely do you think it is that news teams will be interviewing the court's janitor about the hysterical fits of laughter that broke out among the judges that caused them all to involuntarily empty their bladders?

Please note that trump will tell YOU that he is innocent, but he will not put it on paper for the courts to see. What he is saying to the courts is that he deserves absolute immunity from prosecution for his crimes. If the Supreme court grants trump absolute immunity, please remember that Biden will have those same freedom from prosecution. Biden could have his military arrest trump for treason without a trial and put him in jail. Illegal? Maybe, but Biden, acting as Commander in Chief, could break the law and have absolute immunity from prosecution. Before you tell me that Biden wouldn't do that, ask yourself this: If America's democracy depended on the removal of a dictator that was given absolute immunity to act without fear of consequences, what would you do? I would make sure he could not destroy America.

Why is the supreme court taking so long to rule on this? I mean, it wouldn't be the first time they denied such an obvious case.
