I am surprised that neither the justices, nor the DOJ, are acknowledging the role of the the jury in deciding if a President should be punished for certain unusual and pressing duties that may be technically criminal, but necessary for a POTUS to perform in a national emergency.

I do not watch fox news, so I am not among the brainwashed. I don't just watch one news channel, and I do not only watch politcs during election time. Knowing what I do, I hope to see an answer quickly so the court can move forward and take trump out of the equation way before we get closer to the election. Trump is guilty and he should pay, by at the very least not being able to ever be president again. That all said, I was incredibly impressed with his lawyer today. The judges ripped into him good and I admire how quick he was and with making as good of a case as one could. He held strong in some really rough questioning. I still hope hope to hear trumpledickson chokes on a bigmac some morning and is no longer amongst the living, but major respect was born in me today for his attorney.
If Trump is granted immunity then Biden has one year to do literally anything he wants. How do Republicans not understand that?
