Electrification, at this rate of change will fail. Billions of public money are being spent not to reduce emissions but to eliminate fossil fuel.
We cannot afford the higher cost of fuel and cannot afford the transition to electrification.
That is the COP legacy.
Trudeau’s government will be gone and affordability will return. Perhaps moving forward, we will take a more realistic approach.
All I can see is an economic collapse as some governments race towards electrification.

These protesters are not engineers. They have no concept of the consequences if they got what they want. The simple fact is that our civilization at its current level cannot exist without the widespread use of fossil fuels. Any attempt would not only fail but would put the world in an endless economic depression and billions of people would starve to death.
