Great interview. Based on the comments South Africa’s biggest issue is our negativity. Ironically it’s those who never pay their taxes or VOTE with the biggest most uninformed opinions! He spoke about the ICJ case at length… nobody commented on it. We have a long way to go! But my gosh we have come far!

Thought it was a great interview, particularly because it got the Min to talk. But he's a politician and so is expected to fudge the facts, some of which are hard to get before an interview I imagine, but it would have helped with pushing back (like the remission isssue)

This ideology clearly states that the issue is allways “the revolution “ , the doctrine clearly articulates that allies and useful idiots must be nurtured in the pursuit of “the revolution”. (go look this up)
Is the Israeli issue , actually the issue , or is it really “the revolution”. Could it possibly be that we, South Africa are the useful idiot for another parties “revolution” , or are we acting per the communist doctrine and just virtue signalling to the global , radical, progressive left that we are allies jostling for recognition in the international club of the “progressive left”.
South Africa should not have a dog in the fight in all these external issues, all the intellectual capital of the ANC should be deployed to solve the internal issues, economic growth , employment, fighting crime (we have the second highest murders rate in the world ), load shedding.
The “war” in South africa must be won for the people of South Africa and it would be wise to not take part in the external battles of ideology and virtue signalling in other parts of the world.
Just a thought that possible South African citizens be more valued than citizens from other countries, by the South African Government that they elected.

A very vague and unconvincing interview
What about Julius Malema and his comments on "kill the boer"? Why is that not incitement but what Netanyahu said is seen as intent. South African politicians are truly the definition of stupidity. Hamas uses human shields that is a clear violation of international law.
"The presence or movements of the civilian population or individual civilians shall not be used to render certain points or areas immune from military operations, in particular in attempts to shield military objectives from attacks or to shield, favour or impede military operations."
Why don't we make a case against them. But it is understandable that the ANC coincidentally gathered the capital too pay off the massive R102 million debt for the billboards after a independent audit found only tens of thousands in their party accounts. Not a massive conspiracy. "No hidden hand…" Very funny. Lamola can be a comedian after this.
Overall, not a bad interview Dan. You appeared to remain impartial through your questioning, which is important. You also asked relevant questions.
What I would suggest in future interviews is to question/probe matters further based on the answers provided. I would argue that some of the ministers’ answers were neither here nor there and didn’t address the crux of the issue and could have been driven further by yourself e.g. next steps with the Guptas or ANC renewal and why they deemed a man fit to be president but now he’s not even able to be part of the ANC (this was total nonsense spewed by the minister).
