The IRS taking my money is january 6th times 1000
I love the wiki context calls it the "capitol attack", which is more semantics, but still brings up equivocation to 9/11 or Pearl Harbor. As if the protesters burned it down while the Monroe's escaped with the painting of George Washington. Attack and insurrection have very clear connotations of a directed threat, so its silly seeing it labeled with the likes the Charlie Hebdow or Boston Bombing attacks. They scuffed a door and shattered 2 windows guys ffs. Not to mention the 2.7mil of damage got inflated to 2.7 billion by every media stream right after because the extra zeros make it flashy.
Wiki disclaimer claims that it was only Trump supporters at the capitol
So I'm a European who was making memes about "Trump attempting a coup today" on January 6 morning before it all happened, because it was clear to me that the pressure cooker is about to blow up and Donald Trump is initiating it. It was absolutely obvious.
I say all that as someone who would have definitely voted for him in 2016 if I was a US citizen and almost certainly back in 2020. My take on this is that when you look at the evidence and you honor presumption of innocence, you cannot prove beyond all reasonable doubt he actually attempted a coup. Trump was still smart to never break the law outright or outright order anyone to break the law (or at least not to my knowledge) He did suggest it, but he didn't give the order.
That being said I really think that the reason he didn't go that far is because he didn't think it would have such a chance to succseed that it was worth definitely being landed in jail in case of faulure. At this point I have absolutely no doubt that Donald Trump is the kind of person who would throw away democratic process and rule as a dictator IF he could. That made me rething support him. Although the other side is just so bad, that I wouldn't support them either. It's an incredible mess and it isn better in Europe either.
So to mention Europe, I absolutely loathe what EU has become, but unlike many people with my opinions, I don't look for an alternative in Russia either, I'd suggest you don't fall into a trap similar to the "The West bad, therfore Russia good" which would be "progressive left and democrats bad, therfore Trump good" Just because the system gave you choice between two evils, doesn't mean you have to fall for it.
Do you have any thoughts on the Restrict Act?
If passed, it will set a dangerous precedent for the internet as a whole as it not only will ban TikTok but also will give the US government even more power to censor the internet and erode privacy and freedom of speech. Thus literally 1984.

Can a king be found guilty of insurrection against himself? Since he was still president at the time, he would have been "overthrowing" his own government. And you can't say that he was trying to overthrow the incoming administration, since he participated in the peaceful transfer of power when the time came to do so.
Typical NPC: They tried to disrupt the peaceful transition of power!!!111 Insurrection!!!
Me: So did Trump/Russia Collusion. So did BLM/Antifa/George Floyd Rioters. So did Al Gore in 2000. None of that is considered an Insurrection.
Typical NPC: But, But, But, That's DIFFRuuuuunnnnttt!!!
Me: I'll just wipe that spit off of my face.
>Claims to be lolbert
>Supports president that funded coup in Venezuela
9:30 ignoring, of course, that you can't stage a coup against yourself. Trump was still in power at that time, and continued to be in power until the transfer of power weeks later.
Trump isnt being prosecuted for riot on jan 6th. He is being prosecuted for the fake elector plot and having lawyers lie.
Do you plan on looking at the 1v1 debate with destiny and greenwald?
Youtube injecting "Comtext" from the incompotent source that is Wikipedia, is both pretentious and impotent.
are you going to answer me you pussy footer?
The capital was not "attacked." No political violence occurred.
Nice
Proud that you got Youtube's "Um Akchually…!" label on this one😊
I wouldn't mind follow up videos. I like to see different angles on topics.

How anybody takes mr. stipper-name turbocuck seriously is beyond me.
Well, an inssurection or not, it is still a useful argument. Trump being re-elected is bad for everyone, not just leftists.
Hello, Im somewhat new to libertarian theory and practice, and was wondering if there is any real consensus on how Libertarianism and environmentalism intersect. For example, how would libertarians ensure that a corporation like DuPont is disposing of wease products properly, or that companies are staying in line when it comes to CO2 maximums, that they are not engaging in excessive deforestation, etc. The outdoors are very important to me and a lot of my peers, and was wondering what the libertarian take on this is. Another question I have is about defense contractors. Givern that there is a market for something, companies will fill it, I am curious as to how libertarians view companies that would work with larger groups rather then the individual.
In reference to whataboutisms, im always getting hit with that accusation but when i try to explain that its not the logical fallacy varient its the "you logic doesnt follow through" varient but they never seem to recognize that
You know when YouTube forcefully tags the propaganda links on your video, you got information that they don’t approve of. I love when they put the propaganda wiki links on videos, it tells me that I need to listen to what the video states because the establishment fears what I will learn
The fake electors argument falls through when you realize that an alternate slate of electors was submitted in 1960 in Hawaii and was later accepted as the true slate of electors.
The whole "it is an insurrection because people with power say so" is such an offensive and gross fallacy. It is offensive because it proves the one making such a claim thinks so little of the ones who oppose the claim that has no issues with using the authority fallacy so nillywilly. By that logic we can say NK is definitely the happiest, safest, healthiest, most advanced country in the world, we should also take everything the CCP says at face value, and hell; it'd even mean the US interventionism/imperialism was actually attempts of delivering democracy and peace. All because: people with power/authority say so.
Of course, you'd have leftists saying in more convoluted ways that it is okay when they use said fallacy because…reasons
