Thing is the historical facts are twisted in the fact their is no treaty of annexation. And annexation isnt valid without a treaty. So i believe our legal status with the U.S is illegal occupation Hawaii had treaty's with the U.S before the illegal overthrow of the queen. The U.S broke their treaty by landing troops in oahu and that was an act of war..Hawaii went from a state of peace to war once an American boot was landed DR.KEANU SAI work has been spearheading the Education of people and has a phd in political science specializes in international law..You can teach law all you like but still get no justice in a corrupt system…

    propose the following:
    1) Any government, business, or property owner prohibiting the lawful possession/carrying of a self defense weapon, must provide adequate protective measures to provide the same or higher level of protection that the individual would/could/should have been able to provide for them selves.
    2) Any politician that proposes, sponsors/cosponsors, votes for, or enacts an unconstitutional ordinance, mandate, bill, rule, regulation, or law will be guilty of treasonous activity, punishable by removal from office, banned from ever holding elected/appointed office for life, fines totaling their salary during their elected/appointed term +5 years, and prisoned for not less than 5 years.
    3) Any group, civil or political in nature that, by their actions or charter prohibit, or attempt to prohibit lawful/constitutional activities or that violate any part or parts of the Bill of Rights will be subject to the terms laid out in section 2.
Of course, I’m not a lawyer, politician, or judge. I’m just a person sick and tired of this.

The queen abdicated her crown willingly to the US. What the state supreme does not have any effect on constitutional law. They can secede from the union, but I doubt that the native Hawaiians would want to.

You are dumb… what's different? The right of the people to own and bear arms is explicitly written in the Constitution while the other isn't. The founders made Provisions that anything that wasn't specifically addressed in the Constitution was up to the states to determine. Why not you educate yourself before sounding ridiculous and misleading people? Your ignorant yet misplaced righteousness is incredibly frustrating to those that value logic and Common Sense.

Illegal Annexation of Hawaii 1893 – President Benjamin Harrison (Republican) overthrew Hawaii during his 1889 to 1893 presidency. On January 17th 1893 with US ambassador to the Hawaiian kingdom John L. Stevens and millionaire sugar businessmen Sanford Dole used the US Navy and USMC (USS Boston) to overthrow of the sovereign queen of the kingdom of Hawaii.

Dole was made leader of the republic of Hawaii after the military forced the queen to step down from her monarchy.

A new President Grover Cleveland (democrat) became president in 1893 and did not restore the kingdom back to the queen under his presidency even though he openly criticized his predecessors actions to be illegal. America needed Hawaii to support the Spanish American war in the Philippines that had just broke out.

In 1897 there was a new president named William McKinley (republican). He signed the Newland Resolution a congressional resolution drafted by a Nevada democrat congressman Francis G Newland which allowed Hawaii to be officially annexed on July 7th 1898 becoming a US territory.

When I was young I just went along with what was taught when it comes to Hawaii. Now that I’m a lot older I know that Hawaii is stolen lands.

Guns are controlled at the state level.
There's a world outside of North Carolina, and even your uninformed bubble. Go find it! Enjoy your life in open, free air.
I'm being serious. It appears to me that you have lived in seclusion, instead of the real world. I know you're young and fragile, but you need to grow up someday.
One more thing, if you must pontificate on subjects where you lack information/ intelligence, please don't.
    Save yourself.

IMO Hawaiians are not the sharpest knives in America's drawer. Beautiful place. Very unappreciative people that draw the blood of tourists. I'm not a fan at all. There's a dark side. Lots of gang activity. You are welcome to disagree with me. I could not care less. The Hawaiians have happily enjoyed the benefits of being an American state but at the same time love to think that they have some superior vision of living. I think Hawaii needs to be put in it's place and made to realize that they are not magically special. My two cents.

The 2nd Amendment is what ensures all our rights as American citizens are upheld. That is why they have to destroy it first. “Federally mandated lifestyle that LETS citizens walk around with deadly weapons during day to day activities.” Either be Hawaii or be America. In America the good citizens have guns like the criminals do.

The lack of firepower is what lost us the Hawaiian Kingdom. We gave aloha to outsiders who used guns to take our land. I'm guessing that the judges who wrote this ridiculous opinion are not Hawaiian by blood, because no Hawaiian would ever forget how our land was taken by force. Because I am Hawaiian, I am 2A all day. And we don't forget.
