You have due process if you are removed from a ballot for office. Congress can remove the offending charge by 2/3 majority and allow you to serve. It's right in the text!

The part that will get Trump is "aid or comfort". Other people have been found to have committed insurrection and he (Trump) provided aid, comfort, and instruction. As a result, he is ineligible.
