If you do a careful reading of the amendment and consider the language of that era you see that the amendment does not apply to the President of the United States. The other annoying little detail is that Trump has not been indicted/convicted of insurrection.
The election process, for the most part, has worked for a very long time. These efforts are by a terrified Democratic that knows they can't compete with Trump. If a single state controls the election process it is stealing the election from the voters. If every state did this, there would be no election.
