Perhaps not resolved but he still has to come up with the full judgement to appeal. Even if he can come up with the dollars its got to be really causing psychological anxiety for someone who doesn’t pay people what he owes them.

This is such a shame in our judicial system. It's actually an embarrassment. Trump should not be charged.. it is definitely sham of charges. And no DA or attorney general should have the power to try to just go after a family as a political hit job. There was no jury nothing He was found guilty before he even entered the court. How is that an America court justice.

This video is so laughable. I love reporting. This is not reporting. The daggers coming from mouths when mentioning Donald Trump are hilarious. WSJ find some real reporters. 💯 👍🏼👍🏼

Trump is the symbol of American dream. To tear him down is to tear down the idea of the American dream. People like him inspire others. The world will forever see the US as broken now.

if a fraud was committed then there a fraudster and if there a fraudster then there´s an intent to deprive a victim of something. Where´s exactly is the fraud if the Bank did their own due diligence, if nobody was deprived of anything, and if everybody benefited from the "fraud", even the state?

This is pure persécution. A door to another Salem witch hunt going after thriving businesses that are star examples of the Capitalist économie. It is clear to the world who is behind this dirty trick!

This will destroy the New York economy. An arbitrary fine for fraud, the biggest problem is that fraud requires theft, and there is no victim in this case. Clearly a political party fine

So I believe my property is worth $100m and i want to borrow $85m on the back of it. The bank sends in their independent valuers and agree with my valuation. I borrow the $85m over 5 years and repay the loan plus interest. A public official who does not agree with my political views intervenes and states that the property is worth $50m. This official has no property qualifications and all of the independent real estate experts disagree with the valuation. I am then indited for fraud and fined. The fine prevents me running for office.

Why didn't this lawyer discuss why Judge Engoron was allowed to say what Mar-a-Lago was worth at the time of the Loan? Is he a Real Estate appraiser? From what I saw of the case is he said Mar-a-lago was worth only 18 million. Even the banks said it was worth far more than that. And they have professionals that do real estate appraisals. I used to think that the WSJ was unbiased. but apparently that is no longer the case.

Since when do people care about banks 😂 They literally defrauded the american people in 2008, causing 10 million foreclosures because they litteraly accepted loans from anyone, taking those loans bad or good and slapping them as secure loans. Everyone back than blamed the bank for not properly vetting its lenders but now its the other way around when it's convenient.

You’re trying to justify the government stepping in and creating a crime when no crime was committed.
