1. Majority have driving license made by dalals , dalal charges double or triple amount of official receipt for providing driving license without giving any test, they give bribe to the officials in RTOs and officials are issuing licences in this corrupt way, i think this is the only reason why accident happens, only a driving license connects all drivers of all classes of vehicle, RTOs must stop this and start to train drivers by taking the bribe as double or triple amount as official government receipt, issue the license only when a candidate passes the driving test, and punish all the dalals, RETEST should be taken to all license holders and if they disqualified their license should be cancelled and they should be given driving skills training again to regain the license. This is the only way to stop the accidents, because there is negligible chance that educated and skilled drivers about traffic rules commit accident, because when everybody is following traffic rules then how can be accident happened there is no chance i think. When drivers got caught not following any traffic rule by traffic police they give them bribe as bribe amount is less than challan amount 😂 , government should decrease their challan amount or suspend such traffic police taking bribe by installing cctv and monitoring seriously 😂, itna kuchh ho jayega to India India thodi rahega 😂 America se bhi safer hoga 😂 fir to mauj hi mauj honge 😂

This law should only be applicable if the one in the accident has been driving within road rules as well.

Let me clarify this:
This law is for hit and run case.
To file a case under Section 279, the victim has to prove that he has suffered bodily injuries or created a life-threatening situation for the victim due to rash or negligent driving. To constitute an offence under Section 279 of the IPC, the driving must be either rash or negligent.
So dont worry if you are the driver and the person who got hit is at fault. Just inform the police or any official from the administration

Problem in India is people along with the politicians are uneducated. Why there is a punishment because accidental cause can be anything and not just the drivers problem. Also if a driver made a mistake which is not deliberate then how can he afford Rs 7 lakh. If he had 7 lakh Rs in bank he wouldn't drive truck. On top of that 10 years jail 😂
In India you get license even if you dont know to drive. The driving test is nothing but a joke. So many accidents happen because of roads. So look at the root cause rather then the punishment on end result
