I suggest government should draft such law and should take lenient way for such drivers who after accidental hit ..takes the victim to hospital for treatment and if patient recovers ……..the said driver should be given 6months imprisonment only with fine commensurating with bill for his treatment and compensation to victims family during his treatment …….
However if a driver accidentally hits any one and runs away from that spot then stringent law should be made for such persons only

Good law, but few doubts… What if a person with suicidal intent jumps in front of your vehicle? What if on an expressway suddenly someone cross the road and you don’t get time to break? How the driver will justify that it was not his fault? What if an animal suddenly run onto road and a heavy vehicle driver suddenly puts the brake but a biker or a car crashes behind it and dies. How the driver will justify his innocence? Dashcam is a good option, but it is an electronic device it can malfunction any point of time. Government needs to think practically about all these aspects and should come up with concrete solutions.

अगर ड्राइवर एक्सीडेंट होने पर विक्टिम को हॉस्पिटल ले जाता है तो वो बच जाएगा
अगर ड्राइवर को लगता है कि पब्लिक से ख़तरा है तो वो सीधा पुलिस स्टेशन जाये और एम्बुलेंस को भी इन्फॉर्म मेदे एक्सीडेंट की सूचना देने के लिए
इससे उसे कम सज़ा होगी, अगर एक्सीडेंट में गलती ड्राइवर की पायी जाती है तो
सब सिर्फ़ ड्राइवर के बारे में सोच रहे है, जो इन एक्सीडेंट में मरेंगे वो भी गरीब होगा उनका भी एक परिवार होगा उन्हें भी तो न्याय मिलना चाहिए

It has some loopholes need to be adressed before implementing, although it's probably the brain child of apex courts. No stone left un covered to make this law to ensure no innocent person gets punished. Let the Apex court revisit the law.

Imagine if an actual accident happens between a truck and another vehicle, all villagers gather to hit the driver. Maybe that's why hit and run cases were rising. Not to run from the accident but to run from the mob. Like if you agree 👍
