Mom 1000% knew he needed mental health help because she laughed at him when he tried to ask her to take him to get some help. Shooting could have been prevented if one of the parents would have taken him with them instead of leaving him in school
Jeez her attorney is horrible! She is going to blow her career for good after this trial. It is unreal at how she has responded to things. Then today arguing with the judge smh !!
I do not like the defense attorney,she is acting like a two year old stomping her feet.That screeching is driving me nuts.She is very unprofessional.She is always flipping pages around showing how unorganized she is.
I haven’t watched the whole of the trial yet, but she seems so out of her depth. She’s a sexual misconduct lawyer not a homicide defense attorney and it’s soooo clear here. I wonder what made her feel the need to take this case when she clearly feels in over her head. I wonder if it has something to do with her wanting to branch outside of her specialization or what but it’s not working well at all so far.

Yes the parents needed to get help for there son but the school had the authority to have him evaluated after seeing the drawing and things he was searching, it is heartbreaking because these killings could have been prevented
1) illegal to buy a gun FOR a child
2) Jennifer literally says the gun is Ethan’s gun
This sealed it for me. They knew their kid was spiraling off the deep end and then trained him how to shoot and purchased a murder weapon FOR HIM. And failed to secure it away from him.
Way back when this shooter was repeatedly letting his mom know he was having mental issues, why did these parents not go through all the child's text messages to research deeper into his issues. Why did they not seek an evaluation for him?

I agree with everyone who mentioned the terrible job this defense attorney is doing. She is lost and sounds like a child trying to explain something she did. “ come on everyone, you know what I mean…” lol. I hope this she gets better. I just started watching this trial so I don’t know what all is out there but she definitely hasn’t started strong here
