You can always incarcerate someone for one more or less day, but proportional justice is always inevitably going to lack according to in the implementation of the death penalty as described above….

I really hope he doesnt make a plea deal for example pleading guilty to all the SA charges (for life in prison without parole) if they forgo the murder charge for example. That would be a terrible injustice to this young girl whom had suffered at his hands for years 😢.
Before you draw conclusions about the mother "must've known" remember molested children are threatened if they tell. They live in terror and hide it. Some keep quiet until they are adults and feel safer – Jeffrey Epstein's victims case in point. My friend's husband was molesting her daughter right in their home and she never knew or even suspected him. We all thought he was a wonderful husband and step-dad who was as kind and loving as her own father. Thankfully she told my daughter. Pedophiles are hateful non remorseful predators and they work in stealth and silence. My friend realised in retrospect – Mom takes a shower – opportunity. Mom visits neighbour – opportunity. Mom takes sleeping pills – opportunity. Trusts him with a lift – opportunity. Mom goes shopping and is held up – opportunity. And so on. This was her husband and she trusted him. He groomed her child and took advantage of her without a thought.
This Stern character is no different but a whole lot worse. He certainly does deserve the death sentence one hundred times over. Poor little Marilyn Soto never had a chance. She was abused repeatedly for a lengthy period of time and died at this POS hands.

Charge the mother too. She told deputies that she saw her daughter getting dressed for school at 8am that Monday yet video caught him discarding her bag & laptop at 7.35am & Madeline dead in his vehicle at 8.19am.

Witness who saw him at the sight where Maddie was found changing a flat tire. When asked Stephan lied and said he wasn’t in that area. Murder!!!!
