Test for a word that YouTube detects and deletes the comment with it. The test word for today is Tucker.

The private social media companies have become the extension of the federal government to control the public. That was obvious with Twitter during the 2020 election. And that was obvious when the state department used twitter to overthrow the foreign governments. When the freedom of speech on the social media backfired at home, the federal government started suppressing it through the mainstream media and through the social media platforms, since we are living under the dictatorship of the Military-Industrial-Congressional-Media Complex, that has expanded now to the Military-Industrial-Congressional-Media-Technology Complex.
You can find the information about how it works in the interview with Mike Benz: “The national security state is the main driver of censorship and election interference in the United States. "What I’m describing is military rule," says Mike Benz. "It’s the inversion of democracy."

It's been a lot of years since I cut the cord on cable, but are they still offering Faux News for free and requiring subscribers to pay for left-leaning cable channels? Would this even the playing field?

Conservative viewpoints should probably not blame social media for being reckless and unpopular

I think this is exactly what the rich who put them in their Supreme Court positions put them there for, so I have little hope.

They are either part of the public square and would not be liable for anything that is posted on their platforms. Or they are publishers and are liable for any harm cause by whatever gets posted on their platforms even if such posts are eventually taken down and commenters removed.

The social media giants are censoring content at the behest/orders of the weaponized, governmental services corporations, so it is clearly un-Constitutional censoring, and an attack on the sovereignty, freedom, and independence of "We the People".

Freedom of speech above all else! Everyone should have the right to voice their thoughts, online or offline. Anything less is oppression

This sounds a lot like what’s going on in Otter Creek, Levy County FL. with the YouTuber What the Hale$ Jeremy Hales and Judge Craig Dethomases.

I think Social Media is a lot like newspapers used to be. It’s where folks go to for the latest news, etc. The difference is the “reply” time is much faster now. People could send in “Latters to the Editor”, but they weren’t as widely read. But I also think the court should consider public displays of protest cases and the right to “assemble” cases which basically said it was free speech unless it harmed anyone, or caused a threat to public safety. With social media, hate speech and bullying could be considered instances that do cause harm to the public. The issue of public figures and social media is of course a completely different case. Times v. Sullivan comes to mind. Anyway, it’s a big issue, but one whose time has come. My guess is the Court will probably allow free speech. Curbing that will be hard to define and could be extremely problematic if it produces a chilling effect on free speech. But I do think the companies who own these platforms should have some safeguards in place. Algorithms and now AI could really mess everything up. No one would believe anything on these platforms anymore. Well..maybe they don’t already. LOL. OK. Enough said!

If it’s a social media platform, then it should be available to ALL except those conducting illegal actions, pedos and the like. I’m not talking about the emotionally fragile habit of “you hurt my feelings”. The very notion of free speech requires somewhat of a thick skin for outlying viewpoints. You have the right to think and say what you want and others do to.

What about when the government lobbys tech companies to censor anti vaccine voices online? Not even a euphemism. Just plain old censorship

Ummm no censorship. No government involvement. Less regulation. It’s always the answer. Social media companies are in bed with the government, which is why their curation has caused some issues. If the government didn’t have so much lobbying, this would be less of a problem. I don’t trust the government to regulate anything
