Constance Penley is Professor of Movie and Media Research and founding director and previous co-director of the Carsey-Wolf Heart for media analysis at UC Santa Barbara. In her spare time, she is President of the Council of College of California College Associations, an unbiased college advocacy group serving all ten UC campuses on financial and employment circumstances, tutorial freedom, and shared governance.
