Just so im clear on this…Colorado wants the Federal Government to recognize a state law in the case of colorado vs Trump …but the Federal government gets to ignore a state law in regards to Made in Texas firearm suppressors. Yeah, about that. Under 14th ammendment, no person shall hold any office, civil or military, under the United States who, having previously taken an oath as an officer of the United States to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. Therefore, what Trump did was an act against the 14th ammendment and cannot be president.
Short answer? The answer is yes, it's highly constitutional to bar Trump as president.
