Disgusting human beings. My doc said it wasnt addictive. I was on 800-1000mgs a day of OC. Lets not leave out what my husband did to out child while i was drugged up. Our lawyers better protect us instead of lining their pockets also.
I was prescribed this new wonder drug for 8years said that there was no addiction my kidneys are failing I never new what addiction was .No one told me that it would damage my kidneys. But once again why should any State or government should reap the rewards of victims such of my self .what did any State lose

I to I'm suffering from 9yrs of opioid prescriptions, Percocet oxycontin Ms morphine all three at the same time including including Xanax used for depression and anxiety that the pain that I endure with using them drugs and the pain that I endured before the use of the drugs I got addicted very soon and now I'm 62 years old and like gentleman said in one of his comments I'll be dead before the money comes to me I think we should settle with the original deal last year 6 billion which they said that it would be coming in one lump sum is 40 to 48000 that would truly truly help my situation that cannot work so I'm on a limited budget I can't afford surgery which I need and my body had deteriorated so badly I had a heart attack withdrawals ongoing problems with my intestines from taking all them pills eight pills a day for 9 years that is quite too many but the doctors prescribed them I didn't get them off the street the said it wasn't they were in addicted I give nothing to the stalker family or something I feel nothing for them but I do feel for the people that are still suffering that are still alive they really need that money they should settle it. The family will see their maker and then they will be judged for all the lives that they have affected and have taken . settle this now.

I was a tri-athlete at 16 & it ended up sending me down a path… a PATH I would have NEVER had access to without the MANY doctors making me systematically a addict to my prescription medication! & many with DEADLY interactions… I picked myself up & now can hold my head high!
But they will never pay the VICTIMS when the GOVERNMENT wants to stop that compensation.

OxyContin ruined my life. At a time when our country turned a blind eye to the suffering and plight of the victims. I have seen others die. OxyContin systematically made me addicted. And then blamed me for the addiction that they marketed. This is an ultimate form of gaslighting. I will never see a penny of any of these proceedings, no matter the outcome.
The people who they hurt and lost everything like myself lost my family a newborn daughter my marriage and my career and my house all because i got and received there meds …we should come first .Now i have a life long fight

I have lost so much and no one cares I believe in god and this sick family that holds no accountability for there actions since my accident I have been through a lot so as my family and friends and my lawyers is dealing with this outrageous situation and I see them paying for all the damages they have done I don’t see why they not paying everyone that been affected from the wealth created and turn normal ppl into drug addicts also millions of lives lost from their opioids.
The doctors got me addicted to OxyContin by subscribing me 80 mg OxyContin 4 times a day and 10 mg oxyIR for break through pain. I took these for over 14 years and now I’m in a methadone clinic which I’ve been in for over two and a half years.
There’s no amount of money that’s going to give me back the mental and physical damage that this drug has done to me but it would be nice to see the drug companies to be held responsible. However why isn’t the doctors that prescribed these drugs and I mean over prescribed these drugs, why are they not being held responsible for their part in this injustice.
I will never be free of the addiction, it’s always in the back of my mind and the fear I have every day in my mind is overwhelming, cause I will always be afraid I’d fall back into addiction so like a demon it will always be there. I will always be an addict thanks to my misplaced trust in a doctor I thought had my best interest at heart.
I just hope I live long enough to see this drug company get what’s coming to them.
