Isn't Ukraine fighting in civilian areas a type of war crime? Russia wouldn't be attacking civilians if Ukraine didn't place defenses, missile systems, and troops in cities. How is it different from Hamas using human shields that the media tells us is evil? Also more civilians killed in Gaza than in Ukraine. 4 mo war vs 2 year war, so does that make Israel war criminals as they charge Russia? There appears to be a massive double standard from Western media(state media), and leaders. Constantly informed how bad Russia is as Israel is much more destructive of civilian lives and infrastructure. The West is always justified, no matter the damage done. Then in 5 years we will get shocking details on how bad western countries behaved. I.e Iraq WMDs, Afghanistan debacle/surrender.

It is clear who is winning.
Ukraine was carved up by the (mainly) US multinationals long ago. The likes of Monsanto own vast tracts of land in Ukraine. The west is supplying weapons and aid that will all have to be paid for. If and when peace comes, the rebuilding of the country will have to be paid for. Even if Ukraine wins this conflict with Russia, they will have lost their nation to the western elites.

That said, reporting on the bill has been weak across all media outlets. I wish they would link to the actual bill for people to read for themselves. Is that a bad thing?
How about giving more details as to why bills do not get votes? "Because of Trump" is not really journalism. Especially when among those who voted against it are candidates for the Democratic Party nomination for President in 2000 Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Sen. Bernie Sanders. I'm sure they had their own reasons, don't others as well?
Some details about what the bill contains would be helpful. Simply saying that someone else said it was really tough does not really say anything at all. Whether it is tough or not is subjective.
