Give it a bone. Use just a percentage of the persecution Trump has faced on biden. Lets see how he fares.

This whole situation is so utterly insane. A malignant narcissist gets elected president and has been holding the world hostage, with the help of billionaires and media, ever since.

I wonder if the head of the department of labor and transportation back then was lenient or foavorable towards her fathers shipping company or if she also was supportive of Chinese developers in the U.S.A. Maybe Trump also benefitted in some way with her as his cabinet member.

The Stormy Daniels hush money case is a slam dunk. It's a state case, so if Trump wins the election in November, he can't pardon himself. He committed the crime before he was elected president, so he can't raise the presidential immunity defense as he did in his other cases. His former attorney, Michael Cohen has already been found guilty for the same case in which Trump was ID'd as an unindicted co-conspirator. Cohen will probably testify against Trump in that case. And its currently scheduled to go to trial in March 2024.

Several things can be true at once and no one seems willing to acknowledge this:

    1. Trump can be guilty of many of the things he is charged with.
    2. Trump is not above the law.
    3. The prosecutors in each of these cases had 2 years to bring the charges against him after he left office and failed to.
    4. All charges were brought SIMULTANEOUSLY and only AFTER he announced he was running in 2024 (They were literally sitting on these cases and waiting to use them should he run again).
    5. Nathan Wade met with White House officials to discuss prosecuting the current administration's political rivals. The same tactic Putin uses against his political rivals in Russia.
    6. The SCOTUS is likely to rule any conviction unconstitutional and make the charges disappear via writs of Habeas Corpus (you non-lawyers can google that because it's GOING to happen).
    7. Democrats are using these charges to interfere with the election.

I'm no fan of Trump but it's obvious, even to many people on the left, that the timing of these charges can not be a coincidence. I don't believe in coincidence and neither should you. I realize that many people hate Trump so badly that he occupies their dreams at night and they want him eliminated by any means necessary (legal or otherwise) but beware what you wish for. These cases will literally open the floodgates for BOTH sides too start going after each other by abusing the DOJ. No one in DC is going to get ANY work done because they're all going to be busy prosecuting each other. Does no one seriously have a problem with this? As much as I dislike Trump, I'd rather see him win or lose this election on his own merit and without leaving anyone with a claim of election interference.

The problem with America is that everyone keeps thinking that civil war cannot happen. Democrats have a "It can't happen to me" mindset so they ignore what the right is SPECIFICALLY telling them is going to happen if they persist. The right is not bluffing, folks. It's not going to be morons in Viking hats either. It's mostly not going to be fought in our neighborhoods either. It will probably come in the form of air strikes against key installations and centers of government. General Miley has already warned the Biden administration that he will lose control of the military if civil war breaks out. Everyone needs to picture this in their minds and take a step back and ask themselves if it's worth ALL of this just to get Bad Orange Man. It will likely happen so fast that you will simply wake up one morning and see a very different America. I just wonder how far they are willing to go once the shooting does start. I'd rather not find out. It doesn't take a massive movement for this to occur. It literally takes one pissed off submarine commander with a hacker on his boat.

If Trump is found guilty of committing crimes then he should be held to the same standard as any citizen would be held to. For the record, I believe he DID commit some crimes. This isn't the issue, though. The question we SHOULD be asking is whether we're willing to risk our lives and those of our families in order to get our pound of flesh. Maybe the civil war will never come. Maybe it will be all mean tweets and memes. That's certainly possible. One thing IS certain, though: Every future president on both sides can look forward to issuing pardons to themselves on the last day in office because the other SIDE will go after them. It's just not worth it….

SCOTUS needs to promptly smack down Trump's bogus immunity claims, and let the DC election subversion trial proceed. If they fail to do that, they will show themselves to be as corrupt as many people think they are.

Great questions, Galen. If prosecutors have to make campaign promises in order to get the job, does that make them appear biased? In my opinion, yes, and that goes for judges as well. These people are an important part of our society, and they should get their jobs on merit rather than bluster.

The thing I run into often lately is a dismissive, "oh, I'm not following all that, " which prompted me to ask peoples opinion about these cases and while I've found far ranging partisan opinions I've found an amazing number of people either apathetic or "just not following all that."

I wish djt's fans would love him enuff 2 stop crippling him w/ such enabling. I understand that narc-ism is impossible to cure, but I believe in miracles & as Christians, (whom most MAGA porport to be) we are taught to pray for & serve ppl WHILST we ALSO stay out of Gods way. But, it SEEEMS, IMO, they keep (essentially)telling God "Nah…we got this. We like his attitude & behavior as-is. So we're going to keep handling him OUR way. btw: you, Jesus, are to clean up the consequences bc we arent meant to serve you-YOU are to serve US, dontcha know?" To which God continues to keep his sovereign promise to love them (all of us) enough to grant us free will. (Okay…have it your way. Lemme know when you want ME, not djt, nor yourselves, no false "gods", incldg your false or your false man-made versions of Jesus, to be your Lord & Savior).
PS: No, Jesus doesn't visit me in the flesh, take me on trips to Heaven, speak to me audibly, etc., AGAIN- I'm conveying ONLY my humble, mere mortal, pov like everyone else does in the comment section).

Thanking your excellent guest for pushing back on the assumption by the host that if elected trump will pardon himself in the federal cases. He will, of course, try to but it should not be conceded at the outset that he will be able to. This would be a case of first impression and it is absurd that a president could commit any sort of crime and get away with it.
