The defense attorney is a scatterbrain. She is unprofessional, not prepared and many of her comments are inappropriate. In front of the jury, she was holding her client, like a mother would their child (not this Crumbley woman, but good ones). Very similar to The Menendez brothers lawyer treating them like children. That's influential to the jury and she should have been called on it.
Ethan was alone waaaayyyy too often. The gun range was family time, which is so pathetic. I do feel sorry for her. She was negligent and she’s such a sad sight.

I cannot believe that these attorneys and the Judge are not discussing what exhibits are accepted or have any objections early in the morning before any witnesses are called. This is a waste of the courts time and to the jury. Let’s not forget the tax payers footing the bill. Shame on the Judge for not taking control of her courtroom. It seems that she has the short attitude. Hence, ready or close to retirement and not caring at all.

I hate when the attorneys ask for something like a break or to approach, and the judge answers in a way that makes it seem like she doesn't want to allow it, but she will. For instance, at 1:07:26 when Prosecution asks for a break. She sits in silence and then says, "uummm kay…..uuuummmm." This is only one example among many. She does this soooo much. 1:39:44 is another instance. Idk why it gets on my nerves so badly, but it definitely is lol.
Everyone out here complaining about the defense, when the judge is the problem here imo. I've admittedly not seen much of her, but what I have seen isn't exactly what I would call impressive.

I feel like the defense is doing nothing hut proving the case against her client here. As a parent she should have seen all these many warning signs, she should have been monitoring her minor child's texts, apps, phone etc knowing that he was depressed and going through a hard time – instead she allowed her husband to buy him guns and went shooting with him. And it sounds like her whole defense is just, I Didnt know! Well thats the whole point – YOU SHOULD HAVE!!! YOU NEGLECTED TO GIVE A SHIT ENOUGH TO FIND OUT!

I don't think it right to charge the patents and try the kid as a adult. If the patents are responsible, the kid should be in a hospital not jail.
