I am tired of waiting for JUSTICE to win out. This November, on election day I want to see 22 Million votes cast against Trump. The previous election Biden won by 11 Million votes. This time I want to see Trump lose by double the previous election. Let American Democracy Win!
They’re clearly scared to tell him that he’s not all-powerful. Either that, or they’re trying to contort and distort the Constitution to render him all-powerful. As this should have been a no-brainier!
The ability to appear on the ballot shouldn't have even been the question. SCOTUS has already ruled that Colorado can kick off ineligible individuals. The question should be is Trump eligible to hold the office.
Kicking it to congress is dumb. If it only takes a bill passed by a simple majority to kick someone off the ballot but it takes 2/3 of each house to get them back on. That's a damn joke. If both chambers of congress are held by the opposing party what's stopping them from using the provision as a workaround for impeachment or barring an incumbent from the ballot? With the way things are now if the Senate were to bring a bill to remove a disability to Trump and it failed. Would he be kicked off the ballot? What's stopping the house from doing the same thing to Biden? There is a reason this provision in the Constitution was expected to be self-executing and it is in congressional hands to remove the ineligibility.

So what if Trump gets elected and after that SCOTUS says he's not immune? Does a sitting President then go on trial? What happens legally if a sitting President is convicted of a felony? What happens legally at election time if 2 states remove a candidate from the ballot? Can one of the MeidasTouch lawyers give us some kind of thoughts on what THOSE cluster fiascos would be like? Does anyone even know? Might SCOTUS declare the President immune from criminal proscecution just to avoid all the above? How about a video on THAT?
