Clearly there are many different interpretations of the second amendment. Who are "the people" referring to when the 2nd amendment states "… the right of THE PEOPLE to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"? Only citizens? Only non-felon citizens? Or does it means ALL people on U.S. soil? If you define "the people" as only citizens, then that means that citizens who are also convicted felons have the 2A right while permanent residents here on work visa do not. If you define "the people" as non-felon citizens then only law abiding citizens can bear arms. If you define "the people" as anyone on US soil, then ALL people have the absolute right to bear arms, within the country's borders regardless of citizenship status or criminal history. What kind of 2A interpreter are you?
