You have a number of brilliant constitutional scholars serving on the Supreme Court, both Conservative and Liberal. In their wisdom they are seeing (from different lenses) how this is not a matter that should be left to the states. There are also two constitutional scholars arguing before them, but it is quite clear that Marshall is the most matured, seasoned and knowledgeable scholar of the two. You can tell with how he so biasedly asserts that Trump committed insurrection when Trump has never been found guilty of! Nor does the attorney considers that an “insurrection” that is “unarmed” is nothing more than a riot. I mean, the crowds on January 6th were UNARMED! How in the world did they hope to succeed going up against police and agents who have the fire power to kill them all?? Moreover, Trumps words were “We are NOT people of violence but people of the law.” Those do not sound like the words of an insurrectionist!
