If this were a single state question which it’s not , it may not need a decision .If this corrupted court stabs us in the back again like they did with Roe ,their going to see a different side of the Democratic Party‼️

Why would something have been put in the constitution for it only to be ignored by the highest court?

Why did that Supreme Court even have to wait for a single state to bring up the issue for them to address it? They should have already given a dictamen about that. Aren’t they supposed to uphold and protect the Constitution as well? They and we the people saw what Trump and his minions did on 01/06/20.

It’s not for Congress to decide. They already did that when they decided not to impeach Traitor Trump twice. Congress is corrupt and full of traitors they already failed to the American people to protect Lying Corrupt Orange Trump.

Doesn't SCOTUS usually ponder meaning rather than wording? The obvious meaning of 14/3 was to protect our democracy from Constitutional-oath-breaking insurrectionists. Then and now.

Would have been preferable if the DoJ had charged Trump for insurrection months and months ago.

It is all about the consequence of the action of the individual, just like the court sentences someone to life in prison or death regardless of Guilty or not not taking into account the effects on everybody directly linked to the accused like father, mother, sons daughters who are also sentenced with the accused and suffers the consequences so should be who wronged the trust of the society of a state should also carry the burden of his actions dragging everyone feeling wronged for his actions within the said society and the state should not be to blame for carrying this sentence just the same as the court is not when sentencing an individual to death or life in prision.

What if you go back to law school Amy Barrett? Such a stupid focus. Pay attention to the man’s point not your own bias.

The states shouldn't be able to decide who goes on their ballot; yet the states choose their own electors, which cancels out the the total national vote. What??

January 6th is not the same as a policy position like immigration. To even make the equivalence of a riot to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power to immigration is ridiculous

I didn't vote for Trump in 2020 and this year will not vote for him. But he and his enablers Republicans tried to over turn my vote. I think this scotus is brought by Trump with three of his judges and two judges that should of been impeached for lobbying with cop groups. This is a dark day in America 🇺🇸 can't believe am living with this system for the laws.

The SC had no difficulty telling states to determine their own abortion laws, they just might feel that states can decide who they vote for, which would not include the country as a whole.

Can these justices simply remove a whole paragraph from the constitution because it deals with rare cases and seems open to misuse..?

What's all these B.S. arguments about a single state not being able to determine who the president is? Has anyone ever considered how voters purging and gerrymandering being done in some states affect federal elections?
