The supreme court could end Trumps political career. And then the court in New York could end his business career. And then the georgia court could end his freedom.
You are about to find out that 1. Smith is an illegitimate Special Council. 2. Trump does have immunity as the only remedy for convicting a President is through impeachment and he was acquitted in the Senate of an insurrection and 3. The 14th Amendment does NOT include the office of President.
Amendment 14th can and should remove him from the ballot

Section 3 is not self executing, see section 5, its purely for congress, and purely by impeachment, for whoch the senate acquited, so Trump cant be bared.

14th Amendment – No Congressman… who engaged in an insurrection can be a Congressman. It does not apply to everyone.
James L. Alcorn: He was a Confederate officer and later served as a U.S. Senator from Mississippi after the war.
William Mahone: Mahone was a Confederate general and later served as a U.S. Senator from Virginia.
Above are two example of people who engaged in an insurrection and became members of Congress.
